Hi ladies and gents,
First and foremost I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have been supporting us for months in our aim to help improve kids’ education in Tanzania. Thanks

"Gods Angels" is a non profit charity organization aim to empower kids in Tanzania. Our project is dedicated to the second goal of the United Nation Millennium Development Goals which aim to ensure that, by 2015 children everywhere boys and girl will be able to at least complete the full course of their primary education. 

What we do

Our Focus is on kids because we believe that, kids everywhere should be given a chance to invest on their education, as they say in Swahili "Elimu ni ufunguo wa maisha" meaning, Education is the key to life. According to UNESCO, in Tanzania, only 20% of pupils make transition to secondary school. Tanzania is one of the countries with the highest rate of children who are out of school. Once a child enrolled in school he or she receives less than five years education on average. As result Tanzanian literacy rates are among the lowest in the world. There are a lot of reasons to why these kids cannot finish their education one of them being poverty. Most parents cannot afford to pay for their kids’ fees, uniforms or even textbooks. Some of these kids have to walk miles to get to school because they cannot afford to pay for transport. Although these kids are too determined they find it hard to pursue their goals. All they need is a little motivation and opportunity to invest on their future. We believe that, lack of resouces can undermine young kids education everywhere.  So what we are trying to do is to help these kids give them courage and help them towards their school expenses, also try to provide them with important tools needed to enhance their performance at school. First we will start by helping these pupils towards their school fees, uniforms, textbooks, computers/laptops, pencils, pens etc.  And then later we will try to go further and help their schools so these kids can receive first class education.

Our charity depend heavily on donations we get, this means your donations are extremely important to us, so whenever you feel like you’re in a charitable mood please do not hesitate to call and make your donations. You are welcome to donate anything from books, money, school uniform (especially white shirts), rucksacks, laptops etc. Ps: we also take toys too.

What to expect from this blog

Through this blog you will get to know the outcome of your donations we will be showing what we have done and which direction we are heading to. You will be able to see images of those we help and their progressions, plus view events arranged by us to raise money for the kids, and also see images and events from other charities operate in Tanzania.
